Israel's Genocide In Gaza: IDF Completely Cuts Off Northern Strip From South & From Receiving Aid;

UN Report:

No aid deliveries to the north:

Gaza city and northern Gaza have been “largely cut off” from the rest of the strip as a result of the Israeli ground operations and related clashes with Palestinian armed groups, OCHA said. This means that the delivery of humanitarian aid from the south to some 300,000 internally displaced persons in the north has “come to a halt”

On Wednesday, OCHA noted the arrival of ten trucks loaded with water, food, and medicines through the Rafah crossing at Gaza's southern border with Egypt. This raised the total number of aid trucks permitted since October 21 to 227.

UN relief chief Martin Griffiths, after his recent visit to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory, remarked that although the trucks that have entered Gaza after meticulous negotiations provide some relief, they are far from sufficient. Meanwhile, the entry of crucial fuel needed for hospitals, ambulances, and water desalination plants continues to be prohibited by Israeli authorities.

The death toll in Gaza is approaching 9,000, raising concerns about the aftermath of Israeli airstrikes on a densely-populated refugee camp near Gaza City. Additionally, a major hospital has ceased operations, and UN humanitarian efforts to deliver aid to the north are hampered due to the escalating ground war.

According to the Hamas-run Ministry of Health, 8,805 Palestinians have been killed since 7 October, including at least 3,648 children and 2,187 women, and some 22,240 have been injured, UN humanitarian coordination affairs office OCHA said.

OCHA emphasized that ongoing Israeli ground operations and bombardments in northern Gaza, specifically the heavy airstrikes targeting Jabalia Refugee Camp on consecutive days, were among the deadliest incidents. The strikes, occurring for the second day within a 24-hour period, resulted in the destruction of multiple residential buildings and claimed the lives of 'dozens,' according to OCHA.

The UN human rights office OHCHR expressed deep concern on Wednesday, citing the high number of civilian casualties and extensive destruction caused by Israeli airstrikes on Jabalia refugee camp. OHCHR stated, 'Given the scale of the destruction and the significant civilian deaths and injuries in Gaza, we have serious concerns that these attacks may be disproportionate and could potentially amount to war crimes.'

Several chronically ill patients face a dire situation as Gaza's primary cancer treatment center, the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital, has run out of fuel, compelling it to halt most of its operations. Approximately 70 patients' lives are at risk, as reported by OCHA on the social platform X.

Additionally, OCHA raised concerns about Al Hilo Hospital in Gaza City, which was reportedly hit by shelling on Wednesday night. OCHA stated, 'The hospital had taken over the maternity ward from Shifa Hospital, which is now being used to treat the wounded.'

Currently, 14 out of 35 hospitals in Gaza are non-operational.

Israel's genocide in Gaza must end for the sake of humanity. #StopGenocide
